What a gem we found!! Michele was an amazing host! The private room with a private bathroom use to be her barn before renovation. It's quaint, quiet and peaceful. Outside there is a kitchen area--so fun! She offers you the option of breakfast & you can eat outside or in. The home right next door is also a delightful restaurant. You can hike, ride bikes, horseback ride to see the countryside or get back in your car and visit Greve or the surrounding wineries. Mona Lisa was born & grew up at a winery very close by. There is wifi, a friendly dog & a Shiatsu treatment that awaits you if you so choose. Highly recommend especially if you're looking for friends for life!!

Many thanks for your hospitality during our stay at Il Cielo... it is most certainly a comfortable and beautiful place to visit. The decore is very charming.
We appreciate your thoughts and ideas on where to visit in Chianti as it made for a fun and enjoyable time.
We also loved playing with the puppies and we wish you the best of luck and a happy life with yours!

Come a casa...

Michele made us feel very welcome at her warm, cozy apartment at the back of her home on this small, beautiful farm near Greve. The location was easy to find, and close to Greve and Panzano. Michele went out of her way to help us with an itinerary, and make sure our needs were taken care of. She even baked us a pastry one morning and left it for us with fresh flowers. She has a couple of puppies that we enjoyed. We liked the room--very clean and nice furnishings. Enjoyed sitting outside, even in November and having breakfast looking at the grape vines.

This B&B is hidden off the main road among vine yards. The last 3 KM segment of the way to the B&B is a country road. We arrived very late in the first night, so it was a little bit dark and unnerving, but on the next day when we came out we found that the surrounding view is actually very pretty. Besides, in the second night we saw a beautiful starry sky with little light pollution. Despite its secluded location, the B&B is close to Greve in Chianti, Panzano, and a lot of charming Tuscany towns/villages, which were exactly the destinations we came for. The hostess Michele is a very warm lady, who has a great knowledge about the region. She gave us a lot of suggestions regarding where to visit in our limited time, for example the wonderful weekly market in Greve, where we experienced the non-touristic, local atmosphere. Michele also prepared some delicious snacks for us, and her breakfasts were refreshing and healthy, good for us because we had too many delicious Italian cuisines. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The only regret was that we spent too little time in the B&B and were out for most of the day time.

Excellent B&B in the hills near greve in Chianti. The only guests on the property so we were very well looked after by the owner Michele who had a homemade organic breakfast for us every morning. Highly recommend it for a quiet weekend.

What a wonderful place to stay, Michele the owner has made me feel so welcome and her shiatsu massage is not to be missed! I've had two. The accommodation is excellent, it's just far enough out of Greve to be very peaceful yet still only a short drive. I would certainly recommend staying here and I will definitely come back myself.
